These Terms & Conditions govern your use of askwebpro.com and the professional website design and development services provided by Ask Web Pro.

By using this website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, or engaging Ask Web Pro for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions where applicable.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or engage the services.

  • Elementor website development
  • WooCommerce development
  • Website redesign
  • WordPress customization
  • Website troubleshooting
  • Website maintenance and support
  • Website performance optimization
  • Related WordPress and website development services

The exact services provided for a particular project will be defined in the applicable quotation, proposal, invoice, or project agreement.

2. Using This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
  • Introduce malicious code, malware, or harmful material
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the website
  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities
  • Copy or misuse website content without permission

Ask Web Pro reserves the right to restrict access to the website where necessary to protect the website, its users, or its legitimate interests.

3. Project Scope

Each website project is based on an agreed scope.

The project scope may include the pages, features, functionality, integrations, revisions, content requirements, and other deliverables described in the relevant proposal or agreement.

Requests outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require additional time and payment.

Examples of potentially additional work include:

  • New pages not included in the original scope
  • New features or functionality
  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed amount
  • New integrations
  • Significant changes after approval
  • Additional content entry
  • Changes caused by revised requirements

4. Quotes and Project Agreements

A quotation or proposal may outline the expected scope, estimated timeline, pricing, payment schedule, and other project conditions.

A project is considered accepted when the client confirms the project and, where required, makes the agreed initial payment.

If a separate written agreement exists for a project, the specific terms of that agreement may take precedence over these general Terms & Conditions where there is a conflict.

5. Payments

Payment terms will be communicated before or during the project.

Depending on the project, payment may be structured as:

  • An upfront deposit
  • Milestone payments
  • Payment upon completion
  • Another mutually agreed payment schedule

Work may be paused if an agreed payment becomes overdue.

Ask Web Pro is not required to continue development or deliver final project files while an applicable payment remains outstanding.

6. Project Timeline

Estimated project timelines are based on the agreed scope and the timely cooperation of both parties.

A project timeline may be affected by:

  • Delayed client feedback
  • Missing content
  • Delayed access credentials
  • Changes to project requirements
  • Additional work
  • Third-party services
  • Technical issues outside reasonable control

For these reasons, an estimated delivery date should not automatically be considered a guaranteed deadline unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information, content, images, branding materials, product information, and other materials required for the project.

The client is also responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to use any content, images, logos, fonts, documents, software, or other materials they provide.

The client must provide necessary website, hosting, domain, plugin, or other access when required.

The client is responsible for maintaining ownership and control of their accounts unless otherwise agreed.

8. Content and Accuracy

Ask Web Pro may use information and content supplied by the client when building a website.

The client is responsible for reviewing the final content and ensuring that business information, pricing, product information, legal statements, contact details, policies, and other published information are accurate.

Unless specifically included in the agreed service, Ask Web Pro does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, financial, or regulatory advice.

9. Revisions and Approvals

Projects may include a defined number of revisions depending on the agreed scope.

Clients are expected to provide clear and consolidated feedback where reasonably possible.

Once a design, page, feature, or project component has been approved, significant changes requested afterward may be considered additional work.

Final approval indicates that the client has reviewed the relevant deliverable and accepts it for completion.

10. Third-Party Themes, Plugins and Services

WordPress websites may depend on third-party themes, plugins, APIs, hosting providers, payment gateways, fonts, software, or other external services.

Ask Web Pro does not control the availability, security, pricing, functionality, updates, or future compatibility of third-party services.

A third-party service may change, become unavailable, introduce new pricing, or stop supporting a feature.

Where appropriate, the client may need to purchase or maintain third-party licenses or subscriptions.

11. Website Security and Maintenance

Unless ongoing maintenance or security management is specifically included in the project, the client is responsible for maintaining the website after delivery.

This may include:

  • WordPress updates
  • Plugin updates
  • Theme updates
  • Hosting
  • Backups
  • Security monitoring
  • Domain renewal
  • SSL renewal
  • Third-party subscriptions

Ask Web Pro may offer maintenance or support services separately where available.

12. Search Engines, SEO and Business Results

Website development can improve the technical and user experience aspects of a website, but no specific business result can be guaranteed.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Ask Web Pro does not guarantee:

  • Search engine rankings
  • Google indexing
  • SEO positions
  • Website traffic
  • Leads
  • Sales
  • Revenue
  • Advertising results
  • Conversion rates
  • Business growth
  • Approval from Google, AdSense, marketplaces, payment providers, or other third parties

Search engines and external platforms operate independently and may change their algorithms, policies, or requirements.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client retains ownership of original content, branding materials, photographs, documents, and other materials supplied by the client.

Upon full payment for the applicable project, the client will generally receive the agreed website deliverables created specifically for the project, subject to any applicable third-party licenses.

Third-party themes, plugins, stock assets, fonts, software, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective license terms.

Ask Web Pro does not transfer ownership of third-party software that it does not own.

14. Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Ask Web Pro may display completed website work in its portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials for the purpose of demonstrating previous work.

If a project contains confidential information or the client requests that the website not be publicly displayed as part of the portfolio, this can be discussed and agreed separately.

15. Confidentiality

Information shared by a client that is reasonably understood to be confidential will be treated with reasonable care.

However, confidentiality does not apply to information that:

  • Is already publicly available
  • Becomes publicly available through no fault of Ask Web Pro
  • Was already lawfully known
  • Is independently developed
  • Must be disclosed because of a legal or regulatory requirement

For projects requiring specific confidentiality obligations, a separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement may be used.

16. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may request to end a project according to the applicable project agreement.

If a project is cancelled after work has started, payments for work already completed or committed may not be refundable.

If the client fails to provide required information, feedback, access, or payment for an extended period, Ask Web Pro may pause or terminate the project after reasonable notice.

Any outstanding payment for completed work remains payable after termination.

17. Website Launch and Handover

Before launch or final handover, the client may be asked to review the website and confirm that the agreed work has been completed.

After final approval and handover, responsibility for ongoing website management may transfer to the client unless an ongoing maintenance agreement exists.

18. Limitation of Liability

Ask Web Pro will make reasonable efforts to provide professional services and deliver work according to the agreed scope.

However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Ask Web Pro is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business losses resulting from the use, interruption, modification, failure, or unavailability of a website or third-party service.

This may include loss of:

  • Revenue
  • Business opportunities
  • Data
  • Traffic
  • Profits
  • Customers

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

19. Force Majeure

Ask Web Pro will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control.

Such circumstances may include major internet or hosting outages, natural disasters, government actions, cyber incidents, widespread technical failures, or failures of third-party services.

20. External Websites

Ask Web Pro may link to or reference third-party websites and services.

These websites are operated independently and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Ask Web Pro is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites.

21. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, website functionality, business practices, or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions will be interpreted according to applicable laws and regulations.

Where a specific project agreement contains separate provisions regarding governing law or dispute resolution, those provisions may apply to that project.
