Refund & Returns Policy
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
Thank you for choosing Ask Web Pro for your website design and development needs.
Ask Web Pro provides customized digital and professional services, including WordPress website design, development, WooCommerce development, website redesign, customization, troubleshooting, optimization, and related services.
Because these services involve time, planning, expertise, and customized work, refunds are handled differently from refunds for physical products.
1. No Physical Product Returns
Ask Web Pro does not sell physical products through this website.
Therefore, physical product returns, exchanges, and shipping-related returns do not apply to the services offered by Ask Web Pro.
2. Project Deposits and Payments
For projects requiring an upfront payment or deposit, work may begin after the agreed payment has been received.
A deposit or initial payment reserves project time and covers planning, communication, preparation, and the beginning of the agreed work.
Once work has started, the payment may not be refundable in full because time and resources may already have been committed to the project.
The payment terms for a specific project may be defined separately in the quotation, proposal, invoice, or project agreement.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you decide to cancel a project before any substantial work has started, please contact me as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances, a refund may be considered for amounts that have not already been committed to project preparation, planning, third-party costs, or other work.
Any applicable refund will be determined based on the agreed project terms.
4. Cancellation After Work Has Started
If a client cancels a project after work has started, payments for completed work, planning, design, development, revisions, research, or other services already performed are generally non-refundable.
If there is an unused portion of a payment that has not been earned or committed, I may consider refunding that portion at my discretion and according to the applicable project agreement.
5. Delays Caused by the Client
Project timelines can depend on the client’s timely cooperation.
Delays may occur when the client does not provide required:
- Content
- Images
- Website access
- Product information
- Feedback
- Approvals
- Business or technical requirements
Such delays do not automatically create a right to a refund.
If a project remains inactive for an extended period because required information or feedback has not been provided, the project may be paused or considered closed according to the agreed project terms.
6. Revisions and Approved Work
Reasonable revisions included in the agreed project scope will be handled according to the project agreement.
Once a design, page, feature, or other deliverable has been reviewed and approved, additional changes outside the original scope may be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.
A request for additional work does not automatically qualify for a refund of previous payments.
7. Third-Party Costs
Some projects may require third-party products or services, such as:
- Premium WordPress themes
- Premium plugins
- Hosting
- Domains
- External software or subscriptions
- Payment or API services
- Other third-party tools
Third-party purchases may be subject to the provider’s own refund policy and are not automatically refundable through Ask Web Pro.
Where a third-party purchase is made specifically for your project, the applicable terms of that provider will apply.
8. Completed Services
Payments for services that have already been completed are generally non-refundable.
Examples may include:
- Completed website pages
- Completed design work
- Website customization
- Development work
- Bug fixes
- Website migrations
- Performance optimization
- WooCommerce configuration
- Technical troubleshooting
- Other completed project tasks
9. Website Performance, Sales and Business Results
Ask Web Pro provides professional website design and development services, but no specific business result can be guaranteed.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, I do not guarantee:
- A specific number of visitors
- Search engine rankings
- A specific SEO position
- Sales or revenue
- Leads or conversions
- Advertising performance
- Business growth
- Approval by a third-party platform
Failure to achieve a particular business result does not automatically qualify for a refund.
10. Refund Requests
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the terms of your project agreement, please contact me at:
Please include your name, project details, payment information, and the reason for your request.
I will review the request and respond after considering the work completed, the project agreement, and any applicable third-party costs.
11. Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Any transaction or processing fees that cannot be recovered may be deducted from the refundable amount where permitted and applicable.
12. Disputes
If you have a concern about a project or payment, please contact me first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly and professionally.
